Finalize scope and budget

Finalizing the scope and budget is the step where all of the planning comes together into a clear, approved document. Before any work begins, you will have a complete picture of exactly what is being built, what it will cost, and when it will be completed. Nothing proceeds until you have reviewed and signed off on these details.

The finalized scope is a line-item breakdown of every element of the renovation. It reflects the design direction agreed upon in the previous step and covers:

• Each renovation task or installation included in the project
• Materials selected -- including brand, finish, and quantity where applicable
• The fixed budget for the full scope of work
• The project timeline, including an expected start date and completion window

Revive network contractors work from a fixed bid structure. The budget you approve at this stage is the budget the project is built to. There are no surprise cost overruns presented after construction begins. If something changes mid-project that would affect the scope or cost, that conversation happens explicitly -- nothing is added without your knowledge and approval.

Renovate to Stay offers flexible payment options, including a pay-at-completion structure for qualified projects. This means you do not need to pay the full renovation cost upfront in order to get started. Your Property Advisor will walk you through the payment options available to you and which applies to your project.

By approving the finalized scope and budget, you are confirming the renovation plan, project pricing, and payment structure for your project. You'll also review and execute the agreements that govern the renovation, including the agreement with the licensed contractor who will perform the work. Once everything is signed, the project is ready to move into construction.

With the scope, budget, and project documents finalized, Revive coordinates the remaining pre-construction activities, including scheduling, material procurement, and construction kickoff. Once these preparations are complete, work begins and Revive oversees the project through completion.
