Escrow

The first transaction closes -- and the homeowner receives their upfront payment.

The escrow phase covers everything from the time the offer is accepted to the close of the first transaction. During this period, Revive is preparing the property for renovation and the legal and financial groundwork is being laid for everything that follows.

What Revive Does During Escrow
  • Opens escrow on the first transaction
  • Orders all necessary property inspections to identify required repairs
  • Completes a 3D Matterport scan of the property
  • Schedules a contractor walk-through of the home
  • Drafts a detailed scope of work and repair plan for the homeowner's review
What Happens at Close

When escrow closes on the first transaction:

  • The homeowner receives their upfront equity release -- the first of the two Sell360 payments
  • The agent earns their first commission
  • Revive formally takes over stewardship of the property for the renovation phase
The Homeowner's Role During Escrow

The homeowner's primary responsibility during escrow is to review and approve the scope of work before signing off. Beyond that, Revive manages the operational details. The homeowner does not need to coordinate contractors, schedule inspections, or manage any logistics.

Timeline

Revive can typically deliver a proposal within 14 days of submission. Escrow timelines vary based on the property and transaction complexity, but Revive's team will provide a clear schedule once the process is underway.
