Close the resale

The final transaction -- the homeowner receives their remaining equity.

The resale close is the final step in the Sell 360 process. Once an offer is accepted and escrow closes on the renovated home, the homeowner receives their remaining equity proceeds and the transaction is complete.

How the Final Payout Is Calculated

The homeowner's net proceeds from the resale are calculated as follows:

  • Start with the final resale price of the renovated home
  • Subtract the payoff of the first transaction (the upfront equity release already received)
  • Subtract Revive's fee for managing the renovation and resale process
  • Subtract standard closing and holding costs (agent commissions, escrow, title, insurance, property taxes, utilities etc.)

What remains is the homeowner's final equity release -- the second of the two Sell360 payments.

What Both Parties Receive at Close
  • The homeowner receives their final net proceeds from the resale
  • The agent earns their resale commission
How the Total Compares

Adding the upfront payment to the final resale proceeds gives the homeowner their total Sell 360 payout. The program is designed to help homeowners unlock equity upfront while preserving the opportunity to benefit from the value created through the renovation and resale process. Actual proceeds depend on the final resale price and transaction costs.

After the Close

Once the resale closes, there are no further obligations for any party. Homeowners involved in a Sell 360 project can contact Revive through their Owner’s Rep, by phone at +1 (855) 684-5364 or through www.revive.realestate with any questions about the final settlement or the process.
